Hey Silje. I'm a 15 year old snowboarder from Norway. You are a great idol, and having your board would be unbelievable cool. Last season I almost broke my leg (brista lårhalsen) as I failed while riding at Oppdal. . That ruined the season. As I fell I also destroyed my old Burtonboard. I'm not sure if I'm gonna have a board this season and it kills me. Snowboarding is my passion, when I'm not riding the board I'm working at Savalen Skisenter. I'm the only girl and the youngest, but the people there are great. They treat me like I'm one of them. I don't think I have three really good reasons why I deserve it, but ey. It's worth the try. You inspire me.

Norwegian Snowboard Awards went off in Oslo last night, and I got female rider of the year. I just wanna thank all my sponsors especially Nike for a great season. My coaches Sondre Hylland and Thomas Harstad and everyone that voted for me. Thanks everyone!!

Bad weather and down days in Hintertux

I`m still in Hintertux, but it`s been bad weather for the last 4 days and the mountain has been closed. So I have been spending lot`s of time at the gym with the crew, a tennis match went down on saturday and a shopping day in Munich..

The sun came back today, and it`s suppose to stay sunny the whole week. So if you`re not in Hintertux already you should get here asap!!

Every snowboarder dreams about the perfect season ender. In late spring 2011 the Nike snowboard team gathered in beautiful Strandafjellet in Norway for their annual team shoot. Traveling with boats through Viking country Halldor and the full crew where joined by legends like Nicolas Muller and Gigi Ruf for a week of snowboarding in a fun and relaxing way.

The land of the Vikings was also the perfect place to test the new Nike Vapen snowboard boot.

See how this came along in the Nike "Vapen" sessions, a series of videos based on fun, camaraderie and insane snowboarding.

Arctic Challenge in Oslo was going on last week, it was a great event and I think everyone that went there had a great time. I ended up not competing after a concussion my last practice run before semi-finals. The girls killed it in finals, must be the best girls slopestyle finals I ever seen.

The last 2 weeks had been crazy, so much stuff going on. First O`neill Evolution in Davos then Burton European open in Laax. This week was a bit of a chill week, but still I had a photo shoot and another competition.

I been in Mayrhofen for the Rip Curl Sista sessions the last week and it`s been great. Here`s some pictures from this week during sista sessions is Mayrhoffen.

Colorado early season is amazing. I been here for a week now and the park is just getting better and better. Keystone is killing it this year with a really good park line, 5 jumps and lot`s of boxes and rails. I`m making a little edit and have lot`s of pictures on my camera that will be out soon.

Had an amazing weekend in Stockholm, I just got home and are packing for Breckenridge. I`m so exited for Breck, it`s gone be great. I`m flying out with the norwegian national team in the morning. Lot`s of cool stuff went down in Stockholm this weekend, all the guys killed it in king of style and I have some exiting sponsor news. I am not riding for Roxy anymore. I been having so much fun with all the girls, and being a part of the Roxy teams has been amazing. Back to school

I’m back to the real life at school in Geilo Norway. To be honest it’s not too bad to be back. The first week at school is always a pain, because I’m not the best at doing school when I’m traveling so I always have lot`s of catching up to do when I get back.

For those who didn`t know I go to snowboarding school in Norway. The cool thing about coming back to school this time of year is that it’s snowing outside and I can wake up in the morning and see the white snow falling down outside of my window.

This week has been busy, lot’s of catching up to do at school, but I also had a lot of fun. The guys found a black plastic pipe the other day and put it up right outside of school. The guys has been playing on it the whole week, while the girls and I been going to the gym, but yesterday we all had a good session on the rail. Had SOOOOO much fun. Who would have thought that a plastic pipe could be that much fun, I had such a great time. Here are some pictures from our little session.

Saas Fee has been amazing, as always. I love going back to Saas Fee every year, but after 2 weeks in the small kinda boring town, is`s time to leave. I`m off to London and London Freeze. I went to London Freeze last year and had the time of my life, so exited to go back. This year I have an big cover shoot and a 6 page interview with Cooler magazine. Super stoked. Keep following my blog during the weekend I`ll post you guys with gossip, snowboarding and party picks from the Freeze and my Cooler shoot.

I woke up this morning and looked out of the window, the sun was shinning and I thought for myself this was going to be a great day, but today turned in to a long day with queues, broken lifts and a lot of wind.. Take a look yourself!!

The day started of good, with bluebird and a lot of happy girls.

Then the storm kicked in!!

The longest queue I ever been stuck inn!!

I ended up getting 3 runs today and I was on the mountain from 10.00 to 13.00!! 3 hours, 3 runs, woohoo!!

Hi everyone! It`s been a year since I last posted something on my blog, so i figured it`s time to get started again. I`m back in Saas Fee. I have already been here for a week with the norwegian snowboarding school and we`re been having amazing weather. Up early again today, for an amazing breakfast! We had soo much fun on the mountain today. The park was really good, and there wasn’t to many people up there so Aimee didn’t need to use her charm. I booked my flight to London today as well, I am so exited to go. I am flying straight from Saas Fee after the Euro cup in pipe, and down to London for a weekend of shopping and partying with Aimee :D STOOAKED!! Watch out London Aimee and Silje are on their way! weather was perfect today, and the park was really good.

So finally after 2 days

with bad weather we had some fun up on the mountain. T

he mountain was packed today, so we spent half the day standing in a line, trying to punch the skiers away, Aimee was using her charm, so we easily went fast in the que. Britte got hurt today and left the mountain early, she`s been sleeping for a couple of hours now, and she feels a lot better! After snowboarding today we went for a lifestyle shoot with a Roxy photographer. It was freezing outside but we still had a lot fun posing together. Watching some gossip girl tonight and going early in bed. So sweet dreams xxxx

Hi again! We went hiking straight after finding out that the glacier was closed, and we actually had alot of fun doing it. The view from the top of the mountain was stunning. Another bad weather day!

We woke up today and every one was so stoked and ready to go snowboarding. The sun is shining and the weather is lovely. We had a good breakfast at 7 and then we went down to the gondola it was open but it was too windy at the top, so the glacier is closed today . IT SUCKS!!! So now we are all going hiking up the mountain instead and skateboarding. LATER XX

Bad weather day

I am in Saas Fee with the Roxy team. We had a great time up on the mountain yesterday. It was so much fun seeing the girls again. But today the weather is really bad and the glacier is closed. So we are just chilling in the Roxy room. We went jogging and are making websites!

As i told you we all when running in the morning because the glacier was closed, so we all thought that it was pretty funny to put some headbands on, just to brighten up the gray day a little bit!
